Perfect Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established 4-star countryside hotel who are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their small, friendly and close-knit kitchen team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef who enjoys a hands-on role within a supportive environment where teamwork, consistency and pride in the food being produced are at the heart of the operation.
This is not a high-pressure, ego-driven kitchen — the focus is on working together, maintaining standards and creating a positive environment where every team member plays an important part.

The Role:
As Sous Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver consistent food quality across the hotel’s operation.
You’ll be involved in preparing and cooking dishes across service, supporting the team during busy periods, maintaining kitchen standards and taking ownership when working independently on quieter shifts.

What they’re looking for:
• Previous Sous Chef experience, or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Background within a hotel, restaurant or quality kitchen environment
• Comfortable working with a mix of fresh preparation and high-quality kitchen products
• Confident working independently when required
• Reliable, organised and a strong team player
• Calm under pressure with a practical, hands-on approach
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
• Someone who takes pride in delivering consistent food and supporting the wider team
