We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work within specialist provisions across the Northumberland area.
Supporting students with SEND and SEMH additional needs. This is a full-time, term-time only role offering a rewarding opportunity to support young people both academically and emotionally within a structured specialist setting. Role Responsibilities- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Willingness to support students with SEND and SEMH needs
- Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
- Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
- Reliable, patient, and resilient approach
