Business Development Manager / Sales Manager – Glass Industry
Location: Field-based (2 days per week on the road)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + bonus + benefits
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for winning new business and building lasting client relationships? We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to join a growing company within the glass industry.
The Role
This is a hybrid position combining new business development with account management. You’ll spend around 2 days per week out in the field meeting clients, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and convert new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Identify market trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
About You
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role (industry experience in glass or construction materials is a plus)
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
- Full UK driving licence
