Van Driver (Morning Shift)

Shift Times: 3am to 6am start time

Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest day (No Sunday work)

Workload: On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

Overtime : Over time is paid at time and a quarter after 42 hours work per week

Routes are planned in with a run time of 8 to 12 hours long.

Manton 110:

Our  Manton 110site is a major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work 5 days per week, including mandatory Saturdays. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with. • Loading and unloading customer orders in and out the van
• Ensuring all orders correct with delivery notes
• Delivering customer order in a professional manner
• Following Health and Safety and driving laws
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the van and loading areas at all times
• Ensuring all PPE issued is worn at all times

Being great with people is essential. In fact, this is the first thing we look for when we recruit a Greencore driver. Of course, you also need to have a  full UK driving license held for at least six months with a  maximum of 6 points .
