Supervisory Assistant Level 1

Are you looking to make a positive impact on children's school day? West Walker Primary School is seeking a dedicated and proactive Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, welfare, and safe conduct of our pupils during the mid-day break. You will help create a healthy, safe, and inclusive environment where children can enjoy their lunchtime, stay active, and engage in positive social play. 

This role is part time working 11.30am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday. 

We are looking for a colleague who has: 

• Proven ability to safeguard children, build positive relationships, and handle challenging behaviours with emotional resilience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a supportive team and a flexible approach to meet changing daily requirements.
• Experience working in a similar role in a school setting.
• Ability to deal well with minor incidents, first aid and the personal health and hygiene of pupils.
