We're looking for professional, caring and motivated Occupational Health Nurses and Trainee Occupational Health Nurses to join our expanding clinical team. You'll deliver high-quality occupational health services across a diverse client base while receiving ongoing support, professional development and opportunities to build your expertise.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding clinical role where no two days are the same.
You'll work with employees and organisations across a range of industries, delivering occupational health assessments, health surveillance and wellbeing services while supporting individuals to remain healthy and productive at work.
Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, you'll provide evidence-based advice, maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all services are delivered in accordance with legislation, professional standards and organisational policies.
Whether working remotely, from clinic locations or visiting client sites, you'll play an important role in delivering a professional, caring and efficient Occupational Health service.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
Conduct pre-employment and pre-course health assessments, reviewing health questionnaires, immunisation records and GP reports.
Triage employees and service users, providing appropriate clinical advice and determining next steps.
Deliver telephone, video and face-to-face Occupational Health consultations.
Assess fitness for work and provide recommendations on workplace adjustments or restrictions.
Carry out health surveillance and medical assessments, including:
Blood pressure
Height and weight
Urinalysis
Vision screening
Audiometry
Spirometry
Vaccinations
Phlebotomy
Produce professional fitness-for-work certificates and management reports with clear, evidence-based recommendations.
Support the Occupational Health needle-stick helpline, escalating complex cases to Occupational Health Physicians where appropriate.
Liaise with laboratories, GPs and third-party providers to obtain relevant medical evidence.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date clinical records at all times.
Ensure all assessments are completed in line with current legislation, professional guidance and company policies.
Carry out individual and job-specific risk assessments where required.
Safely manage vaccines, clinical equipment and IT systems, ensuring calibration and compliance requirements are maintained.
Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD), clinical supervision and NMC registration.
Health Promotion & Wellbeing
Promote positive health and wellbeing through lifestyle advice, nutrition guidance and health education.
Support workplace wellbeing initiatives and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Occupational Health services across the organisation.

Essential Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
A minimum of two years' post-registration nursing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong report-writing and record-keeping skills.
Good IT skills, including experience using clinical systems.
The ability to work autonomously while managing a varied workload.
A high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to travel independently for journeys of up to two hours.
Desirable Skills & Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
Previous Occupational Health experience.
An Occupational Health qualification.
Experience working within community healthcare, private healthcare or other non-acute clinical settings.
Experience delivering health surveillance programmes and workplace health assessments.
