Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver

Location: Units 6-7 St Ives Park, Factory Road, Sandycroft, Deeside, CH5 2QX

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working Pattern: Wednesday to Saturday 08:00 – 17:00

What you’ll earn: 

• Starting salary - £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months -  £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour) 

Additional allowances

• Monthly non-pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 per week

Weekend premium payments (applied to contracted hours) 

• Saturday premium: +£4.39 per hour 
• Sunday premium: +£6.58 per hour

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business customers.
• Provide a professional, friendly, and dependable service.
• Sort and organise parcels before your delivery route.
• Follow planned routes using a handheld PDA device.
• Safely lift, move, and deliver parcels weighing up to 30kg .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous experience or confidence driving long-wheelbase vans.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A positive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work.

Candidates who successfully complete training and meet performance expectations may be offered a permanent position, subject to business requirements.
