Upper KS2 Teacher | Progressive School in Barking |...
Our client school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper KS2 Teacher to join a reputable primary school in Barking, London from January 2025. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in an Upper KS2 setting. Aside from that, the successful Upper KS2 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.
Upper KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Upper KS2 students to reach their full potential
- Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of Upper KS2 students’ academic performance
- Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
- Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Upper KS2 students
- Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
- Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment
Upper KS2 Teacher Requirements:
- Upper KS2 teacher experience
- QTS or equivalent
- A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field
- Proven experience in teaching Upper KS2 in a mainstream primary or secondary school
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
- A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.
