Food Technology Teacher – Outstanding School
The Headteacher of this highly successful and oversubscribed school is looking to appoint a new Food Technology Teacher to join their Technology department. Food Technology is an extremely popular and thriving subject in the School with excellent outcomes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Food Technology teacher looking to progress in a highly skilled supportive environment. This role would suit an aspirational Food Technology teacher looking for a role in middle leadership and/or is the perfect role for a candidate looking to develop further.

The successful Food Technology Teacher will be both ambitious and committed to the teaching of Food Technology. They will bring enthusiasm, dedication and ideas to the department and a desire to promote success, whilst instilling in their students a passion for the subject.

The School is an 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive serving Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding community. It is highly regarded in the local area and recognised as a friendly and welcoming school with high academic standards. The school has a very positive learning culture and their Ofsted report (2016) graded the school as Outstanding.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Food Technology or similar
- QTS or PGCE
Salary
The salary for this Food Technology Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
