The Role

As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons.
* Prepare pupils effectively for the end of Key Stage 1 and SATs assessments.

* Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
* Differentiate learning to support and challenge all learners.
* Work collaboratively with your parallel Year 2 colleague in this 2-form entry setting.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and behaviour management.
* Have a strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Be passionate about raising standards and pupil achievement.
* Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Be a reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement.
