Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to work within our SEN setting . The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, differentiated English lessons that meet the unique learning needs of our students while fostering confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
- Support students' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and bespoke learning strategies.
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting approaches as required.
Person Specification:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with SEN or SEMH students is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills with patience and empathy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to promoting the wellbeing and personal development of students.
