Teaching Tomorrow, a trusted education recruitment agency, is on the lookout for a dedicated Year 4 teacher (Could be Year 4 or Year 2) in Stevenage from January. Bring your passion for teaching and help shape the learning journeys of pupils in this long-term position from January to April 2026 (Potentially extended until July). Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different subjects and year groups as per the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans and schemes of work left by the regular teacher.
- Provide feedback to the school at the end of each assignment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching across key stage 2 in primary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
