Class 1 HGV Driver
Location: Burton Latimer, Kettering, Northamptonshire Contract: Temporary Ongoing Start Date: ASAP Hours: 12-hour shifts | Various shifts available | Morning, Afternoon & Evening starts Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
- Saturday: £19.00 per hour
- Sunday: £20.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support a busy transport operation based in Burton Latimer .
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering goods to supermarket distribution centres (DCs).
- Completing curtain-sided deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Collecting goods from factories and customer sites, including locations such as Corby, before returning to the main Burton Latimer site.
- Carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with transport legislation and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
