Ensuring the art rooms and workshops are clean, organised, and safe
Managing storage of materials and keeping accurate stock records
Assisting with displays, exhibitions, and art competitions
Adhering to health and safety procedures and risk assessments
Supporting extracurricular art activities and enrichment opportunities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in an art technician, workshop, or practical support role, ideally in a school
Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Have practical skills across a variety of art materials and techniques
Be confident in preparing resources and supporting pupils safely
Be proactive, reliable, and adaptable
Work collaboratively as part of a department and wider school team
Understand and follow health and safety procedures
