Minibus Driver / Football Coach - Post-16 Programme

Kidderminster Harriers Football Club is looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Minibus Driver / Football Coach to support the club’s Post-16 football programme .

The primary responsibility of the role will be the safe transportation of Post-16 players to and from training, fixtures and other programme activities. Alongside the driving responsibilities, there will also be opportunities to support football coaching sessions, making this an ideal position for somebody with a coaching background who wants to work within a football environment.

Applicants must hold the appropriate D1 driving entitlement and be comfortable working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport Post-16 players and staff to training, fixtures and programme activities.
Support the day-to-day transport and logistical requirements of the Post-16 programme.
Assist with football coaching and session delivery where appropriate.
Support staff with training and matchday operations.
Complete appropriate vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is operated safely and responsibly.
Maintain high standards of punctuality, professionalism and conduct when representing Kidderminster Harriers FC.

Essential Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement .
Reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly during weekdays.
Comfortable working with young people.
Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and meet the club’s safeguarding requirements.

Desirable:

FA/UEFA coaching qualification or previous football coaching experience.
Goalkeeping coaching experience would be particularly advantageous.
Experience within Post-16, academy, college or development football.
First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.

The role will operate Monday to Friday , with hours structured around the Post-16 training and fixture programme.
