Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Colchester, Essex
Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
Contract: Temporary
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing and production company in Colchester. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
This is a key role within a large and busy warehouse operation. The position will also involve off the forklift responsibilities, so a flexible and proactive approach is essential.
Duties Of The Forklift Driver
- Working in a fast-paced goods-in environment
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Completing paperwork accurately
- Stock control and stock counting
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience within a warehouse and logistics distribution and supply chain environment
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence essential (Reach licence advantageous)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as basic computer proficiency
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks
Hours And Pay
- £13.12 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
- A temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
