Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Spanish lessons that are age-appropriate and aligned with the curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to drive their learning
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students with diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behaviour
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular activities and projects
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns

Requirements

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification and have qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Possess a strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature
• Experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students' individual needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks effectively
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about current educational best practices
