We’re working with a specialist SEND setting supporting pupils aged 6–16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and communication differences .
Many of the pupils have experienced disrupted education , so the focus here is on:
- Rebuilding confidence
- Creating consistency and routine
- Helping young people reconnect with learning

The Role
We are seeking a reflective, committed, and compassionate teacher to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 , delivering a personalised curriculum tailored to individual needs.
You will teach small classes , supported by consistent Learning Support Assistants , enabling you to focus on meaningful learning and individual progress.
The aim is to help pupils work towards outcomes that are:

Curriculum & Pathways
The curriculum is flexible and designed around pupil readiness, including:
- Functional Skills (English & Maths)
- Entry Level qualifications
- AQA Unit Awards
- EDUCAS pathways
- ASDAN programmes
Experience delivering or supporting accredited pathways and adapting learning for SEND pupils is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students
- Work closely with LSAs and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
- Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or equivalent)
- Has experience within SEND, alternative provision, or SEMH settings
- Is patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
- Understands the importance of consistency and routine
- Is passionate about helping young people re-engage with education
- Can deliver or adapt accredited learning pathways
