The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Boldon Colliery who are looking for a Class 2 driver.
Please note: this role will be a mix of Class 2, 7.5t and van work. This can be a trunk run or local multidrop with handball.
This role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
Job Description:
- Multidrop delivery around the North East
- Trunk runs
- Physically demanding role with handball
- Reading orders and ensuring the clients receive the right items
- Class 2 driver
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- One in 3 weekends rota'd in
- 0700 start
- Finish times vary as some days will require larger deliveries than others
Requirements:
- Class 2 driver licence
- Valid Driver Card (Digi Tacho Card)
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- No DD/DR/IN endorsements
- Maximum of 6 points
- Flexibility for client needs could be driving a range of class of vehicles depending on role
Pay:
- £14.00 per hour
- Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift
- PAYE
