Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay rate: £95-£110 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Do you enjoy supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning through positive guidance and mentoring? GSL Education are looking for a motivated Behaviour Mentor to work with schools in Wolverhampton , supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional support to engage successfully in education. As a Behaviour Mentor , you will work closely with students, teachers, and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour, build confidence, and help pupils develop strategies to manage their emotions and actions effectively. Main Responsibilities: * Provide one-to-one or small group mentoring support for students with behavioural needs.
* Support students in developing self-regulation and positive coping strategies.
* Assist in managing behaviour within the classroom and wider school environment.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement.
* Work collaboratively with staff to implement behaviour support plans.
* Monitor progress and report updates to relevant staff members. Requirements of Behaviour Mentor: * Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural or SEMH needs, is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, resilient, and supportive approach.
* Ability to build positive relationships and motivate students.
* A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
