Year 1 Teacher - Successful School in Oxford - ASAP Start
September 2024
We are looking for a Year 1 teacher in Oxford from this September 2024! This is an opportunity to work within a ‘Good’ primary school in Oxford, Oxfordshire. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.
Responsibilities of a Year 1 teacher:
· Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on the National Curriculum.
· Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 1 students to encourage growth and development.
· Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

· Two-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Oxford, Oxfordshire.
· Friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms
· As well as academic excellence, this school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through its supportive pastoral environment.
· Easy commute to and within Oxford, Oxfordshire.
Suitable Applicants Must Have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
· Proven experience teaching Year 1 in a primary school setting.
· A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to tailor instruction to meet its requirements.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
