Location: Witney, OX29 4BP
Pay: £13.45 per hour 
Hours: 42 hours average a week, working 4 on, 4 off nights: 6pm - 6am

We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable  Security Officer  to provide a high standard of service at a prestigious, forward-thinking site. As a  Security Officer , you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises through regular patrols, monitoring of CCTV and alarm systems, and effective access control. You will support the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy, high-performing site, ensuring all procedures are followed and risks are minimised. This position is ideal for someone proactive, detail-focused, and confident working in a professional, high-profile environment where excellence is expected✨

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate 
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate 
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions 
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions 
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• A valid SIA licence
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Great customer service
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
