FLT Driver

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for a FLT Driver to work in their leading facility near Telford.

For the successful FLT Driver our client is offering:

* £33,696 per annum
* Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday's, standard hours 06:00 to 18:00 but flexibility is required in the hours for each day due to container deliveries

The Role - FLT Driver;

Loading and offloading of Trucks.
Complete arrival sheet for all trucks arriving on site.
Complete Outloading Sheet for trucks collecting stock.
Ensure that all incoming product is scanned in and controlled correctly.
Carryout daily stock counts, checks and control of stock.
Ensure that all products are relevant to customer specifications.
Collate EDI orders onto the relevant paperwork.
Ensure that all paperwork and forms are completed correctly and filed on a daily basis.
Monitor and record temperatures.
Update the Prophet system when receiving and despatching of product and report discrepancies.
Ensure that all pick notes are completed on the RDT scan guns.
Complete all load building on Prophet and complete all ASN's and apply.
Report any offensive or malicious behaviour to the management.
Report any damage to the MHE.
Support both Packhouse and Packaging departments when needed.
Book transport for daily orders.
Help manage waste and broken pallets.
Empty waste bins.
Lock site and activate alarm after every shift.
Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary to the needs of the business.

What our client is looking for in a FLT Driver;

FLT Counterbalance Licence, in date and external- ESSENTIAL
Reach Licence- DESIRABLE
Must be able to be flexible with start and finish times
Proven ability to operate to tight deadlines and be effective under pressure.
Effective planner and organiser - proactive thinker.
Good team player with a good attitude to helping other and working in a collaborative manner.
Excellent attention to detail with proven organisational skills.
Forward thinker and planner to assist with other departments.
Numerate, literate and accurate.
Good Interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and ensure that all information is provided in a timely and consistent manner.
Physically fit to meet the physical demands of the role.
Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and committed to ensuring a safe working environment for self and others.
