We are seeking a versatile and proactive Creative Arts Technician to join our vibrant team. You will play a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across Art, Drama, Film, Media, and Music. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about the arts who enjoys a practical, varied role within an inspiring educational environment.
The role focuses on providing essential technical and hands-on support across the Creative Arts department. You will ensure that all learning spaces are fully prepared by setting up resources, maintaining equipment, and supporting the organisation of school exhibitions and events. Beyond safety and administrative responsibilities, you will work directly with students and staff during practical projects and productions. Depending on your background, there is also scope to lead workshops or provide lesson cover tailored to your experience. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, a commitment to excellence, and strong initiative. A sense of humour and flexibility are highly desirable attributes, alongside a commitment to active learning in the classroom. A willingness to participate fully in all aspects of school life, both within and beyond the classroom, is essential. A strong dedication to providing high levels of pastoral care for students is also a key requirement. The school is well-resourced, and full support with induction and continuing professional development will be provided.
