Blue Arrow is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a client in Bedford. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with excellent pay rates and overtime opportunities.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for supporting essential local services by completing waste and recycling collection routes safely and efficiently. A hands-on approach is required, as you may also be asked to assist with loading duties as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle on designated collection routes
- Completing waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently
- Assisting with loading activities when required
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Providing a professional and reliable service at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous waste, recycling or dustcart experience is advantageous but not essential
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist operationally
- Good local knowledge of Bedford and surrounding areas is beneficial
