Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Wells, who are actively recruiting for Production Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. In our clients Cooking/ Preparation Department.As a Production Operative - Preparation and Cooking Team Member you will be:Weighing large volumes of ingredientsHand cutting or slicing large volumes of fresh ingredients including fish and meat.Following recipe cardsMaintaining high hygiene levelsFlagging any issues with the equipmentManaging and operating the cooking equipment, ensuring that specific cooking times and methods are followedMaintaining food preparation records and logsGood level of EnglishA positive approach to work / positive attitudeA desire to develop skills and progress within the businessAbility to work as part of a fast paced teamAbility to lift up to 20kg+Preferably previous experience as machine operator or operatorWorking Hours:4 on 4 off - 0600-1800 or 1800-0600Pay Rate:Basic pay rate of £13.52 per hour between 0600-2200Basic pay rate of £16.29 per hour between 2200-0600Once permanent, the pay rate structure can increase to the below:0600-1800 - Team Member - £13.52 per hour (with shift allowance £14.72 per hour)0600-1800 - Skilled Team Member - £14.10 per hour (with shift allowance £15.33 per hour)0600-1800 - Multi-Skilled Team Member - £14.63 per hour (with shift allowance £15.89 per hour)1800-0600 - Team Member - £13.52 per hour (with shift allowance £16.98 per hour)1800-0600 - Skilled Team Member - £14.10 per hour (with shift allowance £17.68 per hour)1800-0600 - Multi-Skilled Team Member - £14.63 per hour (with shift allowance £18.33 per hour)What you will receive in return:Bonus structure (Bonus is paid quarterly with a minimum payment of £125, this can increase in £25 increments if quality standards etc are met up to a total of £200.00) - Bonus is paid at the end of the month following the QuarterPaid breaksFree meals to take homePension schemeFree on-site parkingSubsidised canteen (Max £2 meals)What you need to do next:If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered.Please contact the team at Thrive Shepton on 01749 342 982Thrive Group are acting as an employment agency in relationship to this vacancy.If you have not heard from a consultant within 7 days, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.TPBN1_UKTJ
