Role Overview
The School Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the school’s operational functions and contributing to strategic leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading financial planning and budget management
Preparing financial reports for Governors and Trustees
Overseeing HR and recruitment compliance
Managing health and safety procedures
Supervising premises and facilities management
Managing procurement and contracts
Supporting long-term strategic planning
Leading administrative and finance teams
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Contributing to whole-school development strategy
This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic thinking and strong operational expertise.
Operations Team
The School Business Manager works directly with the Headteacher and Governing Board. The operational team includes finance officers, HR support, and premises staff.
