Salary: £13.45 ph + holiday pay
Monday to Friday
Weekend shifts available as well sometimes.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a casual General Assistant with b ackground knowledge in food catering services to join our dedicated and passionate team at the college.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled General Assistant to make a name for themselves within the food service industry and be a part of setting the new standard for education catering.
Job Description
As a General Assistant you will…
- Assist in the serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house, and back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
- Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
- Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Ideally have experience working within catering
- Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
- Fun and enthusiastic
- Have excellent organization skills.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail.
- Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
- Possess great customer service skills.
- Have a flexible approach to work
