- The Charity Accountant will provide strategic financial leadership for the organisation, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, effective business partnering, and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and team performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support decision-making with timely financial insight.
- Oversee finance systems, controls, processes, and fund accounting.
- Manage payroll, capital project finances, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, charity, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead year-end accounts, audits, and external financial relationships.
- Develop financial policies supporting income generation and long-term sustainability.
- Manage, coach, and develop finance staff.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis, advice, and support as required
