Marketing Assistant

We are working with an exciting tech company with offices in south Leeds who are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join their expanding team.  Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this is a great opportunity for either a Marketing graduate or someone who has just completed a Marketing Apprenticeship, that first role on your marketing career ladder.

Duties & responsibilities will include;

• Assisting with digital marketing across social media, email campaigns, and website content
• Creating, editing, and proofreading marketing content

• Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
• Updating website content
• Helping to organise exhibitions and events
• Supporting the administration of day-to-day marketing activities.
• Manage and compile newsletters
• Conducting market and competitor research
• Monitoring marketing performance

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for that first role within marketing, this is a great platform to develop your skills and experiences, the ideal candidate will have;

• A degree, apprenticeship or qualification in Marketing, Business
• A genuine interest in marketing and digital communications
• Strong written communication skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• An understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for exhibitions and events

• Experience using WordPress or another content management system (Desirable)
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Desirable)
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or other marketing reporting tools
• Experience creating content using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Desirable)
