* Carry out direct work with children to understand and represent their wishes, feelings, and lived experiences within the court process.
* Prepare high-quality Section 7 reports, safeguarding letters, risk assessments, and court recommendations within required timescales.
* Analyse complex issues, including domestic abuse, parental conflict, neglect, emotional harm, and child protection concerns.
* Provide expert advice and evidence to Family Courts, attending hearings, and presenting professional recommendations when required. Roles and responsibilities: * Undertake robust and thorough assessments of children and families to highlight welfare concerns and identify both risks and protective measures.
* Engage directly with children, ensuring their voices are heard, and their wishes and feelings are accurately portrayed within the court.
* Deliver timely and detailed reports and risk assessments, offering informed court recommendations.
* Navigate complex issues such as domestic abuse, parental conflict, and child protection with analytical precision.
* Offer expert testimony and recommendations to Family Courts, supporting proceedings with professional insights. Person Specification: Qualifications: * Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, or an equivalent recognised social work qualification.
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to children's social work practice. Registration & Compliance: * Current registration with Social Work England. Experience: * Minimum of three years' post-qualifying experience working with children and families.
