Operating within the University's Estates & Infrastructure governance framework, you will support the delivery of integrated annual and multi-year investment programmes aligned to operational priorities, asset management objectives and the University's wider strategic ambitions.

The role will involve managing projects through the full lifecycle, including:
  • feasibility and option appraisal

You will work closely with Estates Operations, Procurement, Finance, academic departments and external consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and with minimal disruption within a live Higher Education environment.

As part of the University's ongoing commitment to redeployment, please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any stage of the recruitment process if a suitable redeployee is identified.

For informal enquiries about this vacancy, please contact Dave Stanbury Interim Head of Projects & Programme Delivery. (View email address on energyjobsearch.com )

  • understanding of statutory compliance, CDM and construction health & safety requirements
  • the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing operational demands
Experience within Higher Education or similarly complex estates environments would be advantageous.
