EUC Lead – £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance – Home Based with UK Travel – SC Cleared

Are you a senior End User Computing leader with strong Microsoft technology expertise and experience managing large technical teams across both Operations and Professional Services?

We are looking for an experienced EUC Capability Lead to take ownership of a strategically important End User Computing practice, providing technical leadership, operational direction and people management across a team of approximately 50 engineers and technical specialists.

This is a home-based role, open to candidates across the UK, with regular travel, mainly across southern England, required for customer engagement, team collaboration and key business meetings.

Security Clearance - Due to the nature of the work, candidates must currently hold active SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• There is NO hands-on requirement in the position, but you must have a strong technical understanding of EUC and come from a solid End User Computing / Modern Workplace background.
• Leading, managing and developing a technical team of approximately 30 engineers and specialists across EUC Operations and Professional Services.
• Providing senior technical leadership across the EUC capability, with a strong focus on Microsoft Endpoint technologies, Intune and modern workplace solutions.
• Setting the technical strategy, engineering standards, reference architectures and approved technology patterns across the EUC domain.
• Providing technical leadership across Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Windows 10/11, Autopilot, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Driving technical excellence across endpoint management, device lifecycle management, application deployment, patching, compliance and modern workplace technologies.
• Maintaining and developing capability around Citrix technologies, including virtual applications and desktops.
• Working through senior engineers, Principal Engineers and Architects to establish consistent technical standards and best practices.
• Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex and high-risk EUC challenges.
• Driving continuous improvement across service delivery, engineering processes, tooling, automation and technical capability.
• Working with customers and internal stakeholders across the UK to understand requirements and provide senior technical leadership.

Experience

• Proven experience in a senior EUC Leadership, Capability Lead, Practice Lead, Head of EUC, Head of End User Computing or similar technical leadership role.
• Experience managing and developing a team of approximately 50 people or a similarly sized technical function.
• Strong technical background within End User Computing, Modern Workplace or Digital Workplace environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager and modern endpoint management.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Microsoft Autopilot.
• Experience across endpoint security, device compliance, application deployment and device lifecycle management.
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / Citrix DaaS or similar virtual desktop technologies.
• Experience managing technical teams across both Operations / Managed Services and Professional Services.
• Strong understanding of modern EUC architecture, endpoint management and workplace transformation.
• Proven ability to set technical standards, architecture principles and engineering best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills, with the ability to operate at senior leadership level.
