Nudge Education is a national intervention service for children that are chronically disengaged from education.
We are hopeful that the tailored and bespoke interventions that we design and deliver will help to re-engage thousands of children across the country in the coming years.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Education Intervention Coordinator to join our team. As an Intervention Coordinator, you’ll guide the student journey from referral through to transition, ensuring a smooth and caring experience for families, practitioners, and commissioners alike. You’ll build trusted relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring that each young person’s support plan is set up accurately, professionally, and with compassion. You’ll be the glue that holds the process together joining the dots between referral, case management, safeguarding, and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the daily point of contact for Commissioners, Parents/Carers, and Practitioners throughout the referral and intervention lifecycle.
- Manage referrals from receipt to intervention start, aligning the right Practitioner to each student.
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of Live interventions including timetabling, compliance checks, communications and incident response.
- Monitor and maintain up-to-date, accurate student data across internal and external systems.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns in line with policy, working closely with the Regional Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Lead weekly Planning and Risk assessment checks to ensure high-quality and safe intervention preparation.
- Review and approve session evaluation reports for Commissioners, ensuring clarity, quality and timeliness.
- Provide regular updates at review and multi-agency meetings.
- Support Practitioners with guidance and case information to help them deliver high-quality support.
- Set up and manage student files, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
- Contribute to a team culture that is proactive, driven, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable students.
- Represent Nudge Education with professionalism and care in all communications.
- Participate in relevant training and continuous professional development.
- Promote and model the ethos of Nudge Education in all aspects of your work.
Requirements:
- Experience of managing caseloads and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Minimum GCSE Grade C/ Grade 4 in English and Mathematics.
- Highly organised and efficient with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
- Confident in managing relationships and seeing tasks through.
- Passionate about helping people re-engage with life and learning.
Benefits:
- Hybrid role working between office & home (3 days per week office based)
- Access to Health and Wellbeing services and benefits
- Excellent CPD and learning opportunities
Key details of the role:
- Location: Preferably Head Office, Newcastle (but will consider other locations)
- Salary: £27,000-£31,000
- Hours of work: Full time year round, 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Permanent (subject to passing 3 month probation period)
