Why Greencore?

Following the combination with Bakkavor in January 2026, we’re one of the UK’s leading creators of convenience food, driven by a simple purpose: to make every day taste better.

As a vibrant and fast-moving business, we’re proud to employ over 28,000 talented colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots in the UK and the US. Together, we bring delicious food to life. Our products cover every meal occasion from breakfast through to dinner and dessert, with lunch and snacking in between. In FY25, our shared passion helped us achieve combined revenues of approximately £4bn.

Our extensive direct to store (DTS) network, with 17 depots across the UK, allows us to deliver fresh and frozen food both our own and from trusted partners to thousands of stores every day, ensuring consumers enjoy the very best, whenever and wherever they shop.

*       Plan, coordinate, and deliver major business changes and new operational concepts

*       Develop commercially sound project approaches and oversee post-launch activities to ensure continued success

*       Provide challenge, oversight, and strategic alignment across all active projects and initiatives

*       Build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver clear communication plans to ensure engagement at all levels

*       Monitor and manage critical project paths to ensure timely and successful delivery

*       Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle

**18 months' project - this role can be based at our Peterborough, Manton 110 or Tamworth site **

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong project leadership with commercial awareness and technical understanding.

You will ideally have:

*       Proven experience in logistics project management and delivering complex business change initiatives

*       Demonstrable experience in project risk management and governance

*       Experience managing contracts and third-party suppliers

*       Familiarity with technologies and environments such as data centre hosting and managed services

*       Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills

*       The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
