In this pivotal role, you will champion the wellbeing and development of young people who have faced significant challenges, providing guidance, stability, and support to help them thrive. Our client is seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in residential care management, leadership, and delivering high standards of care.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000, a profit-share scheme, and the unique opportunity to be the first-ever Residential Manager of a brand-new home, shaping its culture, policies, and care approach from the ground up.

Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high responsibility setting
• Deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Familiarity with care home regulations and Ofsted standards
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, staff, and external partners
• Strong organisational instincts and attention to detail

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a residential care setting, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
• Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans and safety protocols in line with statutory regulations
• Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, including performance reviews, training, and professional development
• Coordinate enriching activities and experiences tailored to individual interests and developmental need
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulatory requirements, financial management, and reporting standards
