Looking for a varied role that combines first-opinion practice with emergency and critical care in a supportive hospital environment? We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a recently refurbished hospital in Warrington, Cheshire, offering a unique combination of daytime and out-of-hours clinical work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet seeking flexibility, clinical variety, and the chance to work within a highly experienced team delivering exceptional patient care.
The Role
- Permanent part-time position
- Combination of first-opinion daytime and ECC out-of-hours shifts
- Average of approximately 29 hours per week
- Rolling 6-week rota
- Day shifts: 9-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm
- Night shifts: 7:30pm–8:30am
- Fixed and predictable working pattern
- Some flexibility available for the right candidate
The Practice
This recently refurbished veterinary hospital provides an excellent clinical environment with modern facilities and an established emergency service supporting multiple local practices.

- Three operating theatres
- Digital radiography, including theatre imaging
- Dedicated ultrasound suite

- Endoscopy equipment
- Separate cat-friendly facilities
- RCVS Hospital Status
- Gold-standard feline-friendly accreditation

The Team
You will be joining an experienced and welcoming team of veterinary professionals who work closely together to provide high-quality care across both routine and emergency cases.
The practice actively supports professional development and encourages vets to pursue their clinical interests through ongoing training and CPD opportunities.
