Make a Difference as a Year 1 Teacher - Basildon, Essex

We are looking for a Year 1 teacher in Basildon from September 2024! This is an opportunity to work within a ‘Good’ primary school in Basildon, Essex. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.
Responsibilities of a Year 1 teacher:
· Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on the National Curriculum.
· Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 1 students to encourage growth and development.
· Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
· Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 1 student progress.
· Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
· Proven experience teaching Year 1 in a primary school setting.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Dedication to providing high-quality education to children.
