R&D Tax Manager- LeedsDo you have a software or computer developer R&D tax background? Do you want to join a Top 10 Firm? Then apply today! Our client, a leading professional services provider, is seeking a dedicated R&D Tax Manager to join their dynamic Innovations Reliefs Team. In this key role, you will collaborate with businesses ranging from start-ups to global multinationals across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, software, and digital technologies. This is your chance to engage with cutting-edge companies, assisting them in preparing successful Research & Development tax relief claims while broadening your professional expertise in a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities
- Develop tailored methodologies and oversee the preparation of R&D tax relief claims for submission to HMRC.
- Conduct interviews with clients' technical and finance teams to guide them on the R&D tax relief process and identify eligible activities and expenditures.
- Author clear and compelling technical descriptions of client projects as part of detailed reports.
- Identify and contribute to business growth opportunities, pitching to acquire new projects or enhance existing relationships.
- Act as the main contact for specific R&D software-related projects.
- Leverage computer science or development expertise to mentor junior team members.
- Strong background in computer science and software development, ideally with direct experience in IT or software industries.
- Solid understanding of the UK's R&D tax incentives and the expertise to prepare and submit claims.
- Exceptional writing skills with high attention to detail in technical reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respond effectively to HMRC enquiries.
