Dayforce Talent Consultant

Team Wheel is looking for an experienced Dayforce Talent Consultant to lead the talent side of our Dayforce implementations, optimisation projects and managed services. This role is for someone who knows the Dayforce Talent modules well and can take a client from messy requirements to a clean, well-adopted configuration that HR and hiring managers actually use.

You will work across Dayforce projects alongside our Core HR, payroll and workforce management consultants, our project managers and the client's HR and talent teams. The role covers discovery, design, configuration, testing and go-live for Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Learning, Succession and Engagement, depending on what each client has licensed and needs.

Salary and working arrangement

The salary range for this role is expected to be £50,000 to £65,000 per year , depending on experience. For an exceptional candidate with deep experience across several Talent modules, we may consider a higher salary for the right individual.

This role is entirely remote with some travel to client sites and company meet-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design workshops for the Dayforce Talent modules, understanding how the client recruits, onboards, reviews and develops people today.

• Translate requirements into practical Dayforce configuration: requisitions, job postings, career sites, candidate workflows, onboarding forms and tasks, performance cycles, goals, compensation plans, learning catalogues and succession pools.

• Challenge overly complex or inconsistent processes and recommend simpler, more scalable ways of working.

• Configure, test and document Talent module set-up to Team Wheel standards.

• Support integrations and data flows between Talent and Core HR, payroll and third-party tools such as job boards, background checking and e-signature.

• Prepare and run UAT, train client administrators and hiring managers, and support go-live and hypercare.

• Support post-go-live optimisation and managed services work, including annual performance and compensation cycles.

• Keep up to date with Dayforce release notes and bring relevant new Talent features to clients.

• Work closely with project managers and other consultants so Talent work is sequenced properly within the wider project.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on Dayforce experience with at least two Talent modules, ideally Recruiting and Onboarding plus Performance, Compensation or Learning.

• A good understanding of recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes in UK and international organisations.

• Confidence running client workshops and explaining system and process options in plain English.

• Strong configuration and testing discipline, with clear documentation habits.

• Comfortable working across several clients and projects at once.

• Experience with other ATS or talent platforms, such as Workday Recruiting, SuccessFactors, Teamtailor or Greenhouse, is a plus.

• Dayforce certifications in Talent modules are valuable but not essential if your experience is strong.

• Consultancy experience is helpful, but not essential if you have strong client-facing skills.

• UK National / full Right to Work in the UK. This is not an off-shore position.
