Job Description:
Position: Quality Assurance Lead
Location: Remote (Canada); PEI candidates preferred; approximately 4–6 onsite PEI trips annually
Structure: 12-month contract, December 1, 2026 – November 30, 2027
Compensation: $75/hour (contract pay rate)
CorGTA is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to support an enterprise application initiative in the public sector. This hands-on role will establish QA best practices and lead manual and automated testing in collaboration with development, project and business teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead QA planning, policies, processes and test lifecycle activities.
• Build and maintain Playwright automated tests in C#/.NET Core using NUnit and Azure Pipelines.
• Create manual test plans/scripts, prepare test data, validate outcomes and reproduce defects.
• Test REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML integrations.
• Manage defects, severity and prioritization; track execution in Azure DevOps Test Plans.
• Produce QA metrics, dashboards and team velocity reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and customer support; assist business teams with UAT scripts. Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum five years of QA experience, including QA lead experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing QA best practices, policies and procedures.
• Strong Playwright (C#/.NET Core), NUnit, Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps Test Plans expertise.
• Manual testing, test plans/scripts, defect management and test data experience.
• REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML; excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel onsite to PEI approximately 4–6 times annually. Assets: Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales and Service CRM or other CRM platforms (Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365); accessibility testing; BDD; Java or JavaScript/TypeScript; PEI/public-sector experience.
