ABOUT THE TEAM

You'll join our Civils & Groundworks delivery team, part of JSM's infrastructure delivery business, coordinating excavation, reinstatement and utility diversion works that underpin our power, digital infrastructure and renewable energy connections across the UK.

You'll work alongside Project Managers, site supervisors and groundworks subcontractors, as well as client-side engineers, our commercial team and SHEQ. The day-to-day rhythm is fast-moving and multi-site — you'll be switching between documentation, phone calls with clients and subcontractors, and site trackers across several live civils projects at once.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role exists to keep our civils projects running smoothly, safely and on programme — coordinating everything from permits and RAMS to progress tracking, so that Project Managers and site teams can focus on delivery.

Day to day, you will:

• Coordinate documentation for civils works — permits, RAMS, traffic management plans, trackers and reports
• Track project milestones across excavation, reinstatement and utility diversion works, and escalate issues early
• Liaise between clients, internal teams and groundworks subcontractors to keep communication and programme aligned
• Support the allocation of plant, materials and labour across multiple civils sites
• Track budgets, process invoices and support cost control on live projects

EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Experience in project coordination or administration within civils, utilities or groundworks projects
• Experience coordinating documentation, permits and subcontractors across multiple live sites
• Experience tracking budgets, invoices or cost control on delivery projects

Desirable

• Experience working with DNO, utility or data centre clients
• Experience on NEC-form contracts or within regulated street works environments

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Similar experience in industry

Desirable

• CSCS card
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
• NEC contract training or PRINCE2
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
