Attendance Officer - Secondary School - Coventry

About the Role

As Attendance Officer , you will support daily attendance and punctuality processes, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up. Responsibilities typically include:

• Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality and ensuring registers are accurate

• First-day response calls/messages and logging outcomes clearly

• Identifying patterns of absence and escalating concerns appropriately

• Supporting attendance meetings and action plans

• Producing attendance reports and information for pastoral leaders

• Liaising professionally with families and external agencies where required

• Supporting safeguarding through accurate attendance information and prompt follow-up

• Location: Coventry

• Start Date: ASAP / next term (or by agreement)

• Contract: Full-time, permanent (or as agreed)

• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
