Computer Science Teacher - Leicestershire - January 2026
A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in Leicestershire is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join its expanding STEM faculty from January 2026.

The Department
Lessons are delivered in a modern ICT suite with high-spec hardware and coding software including Python, Java and Scratch. Students engage with robotics, game design, and AI-based projects, and many progress to computer science degrees and apprenticeships.
The Role
- Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5.
- Contribute to curriculum design and assessment innovation.
- Support enrichment clubs such as Coding Club or eSports.
- Engage in wider STEM initiatives and partnerships.
About You
- QTS or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge in programming and computing theory.
- Enthusiastic about engaging students in digital creativity.
- Organised, reflective and keen to stay current in the field.
