E-commerce Packer

Job Title:  E-Comm Packer

Location: Swindon, SN3

Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour, raising to £13.45 after 12 weeks

Shifts: Fixed shifts Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm, or 10am – 6pm

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Gap personnel are proud to be working together with a largest global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for 3 E-comm packers to join and to support busy Manufacturing company.

Job Duties:

• Picking and packing items according to online orders.
• Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
• Weighing and labelling packages.
• Ensuring timely dispatch of shipments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in packing areas.
• Using barcode scanners and inventory management systems

Ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.

Previous experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment and e-commerce department .
• Good knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
• Experience in the use of scanning equipment.

Working hours:

Fixed shifts Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm, or 10am – 6pm – the shift is not of your choice but will be dictated by the Client

Pay Rates:

• £13.10 p/h raising to £13.45 after 12 weeks.

Due to nature of the business, Health and Safety induction and walkaround will be held on site. Prior maths test to be completed by the candidate, and sent back to agency representative for positive verification. All interviews will be held on site too.
