Job Title: Export Administrator (Temporary - Potential for Permanent Role)

Location: Grimsby

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (including weekends), 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Contract Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

Salary: £13.91

Stafforce are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-paced food manufacturing organisation supplying high-quality products to major retailers and customers across the UK and international markets. About the Role

We are currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Export Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for this role to become a full-time permanent position.

This is a key role supporting the smooth and compliant movement of products across UK and international markets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an export administrator you will be responsible for;

  • Manage export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with all legal and customer requirements
  • Process and administer customer orders using SAP and other systems
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Coordinate shipments with logistics providers and internal teams
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders, documentation, and queries
  • Ensure all products meet retailer, legal, and country-specific export requirements
  • Maintain traceability records in line with company and regulatory standards
  • Work closely with Technical, Planning, Logistics, and Production teams
  • Support the resolution of shipment or documentation issues efficiently
  • Deliver high levels of customer service through clear communication and accuracy

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful for the position as an export administrator;

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using SAP and customer management systems
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in export administration or food manufacturing is advantageous but not essential
  • Full training and support ("buddying up") will be provided until you are fully confident in the role
