Credit Bureau Relationship Manager

Our teamCredit Platform's mission is to systematise credit analysis and decisioning across Monzo's products, data and geographies. We source, onboard and manage the credit bureau and external-data suppliers that power underwriting in the UK and, increasingly, across the EU. You'll join a small, high-performing team supporting an ambitious multi-market growth agenda. Key responsibilitiesSupporting the sourcing, onboarding and day-to-day management of Credit Reference Agencies and external-data suppliers across consumer and commercial dataMaintaining Monzo's single source of truth on what bureau (borrowing) data and products we hold, what we're contracted for, and how each is usedTracking and reconciling spend against supplier volumes and budgets, and surfacing cost-optimisation opportunitiesCoordinating supplier onboarding steps with Legal, Data Protection, Security and ProcurementHelping test and evaluate new CRA and alternative-data products, and writing up findings for the squad to evaluate furtherOwning end-to-end one or more supplier relationships or EU workstreams (e.g. Open Banking scoring, a market's bureau stack), and deputising for the Credit Bureau Relationship ManagerLeading discrete procurement/contract-lifecycle activities and shaping supplier strategy in your areaWhat we're looking forYou're highly organised and thrive on keeping many moving parts in order i.e tracking actions, deadlines and follow-ups so nothing slipsYou're a clear, confident communicator, comfortable coordinating with suppliers and internal teamsYou have a sharp eye for detail across invoices, contracts, trackers and records stay accurate in your handsYou're proactive and self-starting: you chase things down and keep work moving without being askedYou're genuinely curious about credit-bureau data, suppliers and how they support lending and keen to build that domain knowledgeNice to have: exposure to procurement, supplier/vendor management, or financial servicesWhat’s in it for you£43,300 to £58,500 + Incentive Awards tied to your performanceWe can sponsor your visaThis role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London)We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team£1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferencesWe will set you up to work from home; all employees are given Macbooks and for fully remote workers we will provide extra support for your work-from-home setupPlus lots more!
