Employment Senior Associate/Legal Director

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor at 5+ PQE level through to Legal Director to join a highly successful and rapidly growing national Employment team.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the team, which is currently experiencing s ignificant growth in workload and headcount. Employment is one of the fastest-growing areas of the business nationally, with continued investment and a strong pipeline of work.

The team operates as one national practice , rather than separate office-based teams, meaning you will work closely with colleagues across the UK and benefit from a genuinely broad client base and access to expertise across multiple locations.

The role

You will have the opportunity to work across a varied Employment caseload, with a particularly strong pipeline of:

• Employment tribunal litigation and contentious work
• Corporate support and transactional employment work
• Employment advisory matters
• A broad range of employment issues for an impressive client base

There is plenty of scope to shape the role around your own experience and interests. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a good balance of litigation/tribunal work, corporate support, and advisory matters , although there is flexibility around the eventual mix.

You will work with a range of high-profile clients across a variety of sectors, providing commercially focused advice on interesting and often complex matters.

About you

We are keen to hear from experienced Employment lawyers from 5+ PQE through to Legal Director level .

You may be a strong Senior Associate looking for your next step or an experienced Legal Director with Partnership aspirations. There is a genuine opportunity for progression to Partnership for someone who has the ambition and drive to pursue it, although equally the team is very open to experienced lawyers who prefer to focus on their technical expertise rather than Partnership.

Applications are also welcomed from experienced Chartered Legal Executives with a strong Employment background.
