A leading Private Equity team is sourcing for a individual with either private client and or Partnership tax experience, looking to make a move into the Private Equity Tax market.
The firm is looking for a UK trained CTA/ACA who will be responsible for designing and managing the annual UK reporting cycle for medium and large cap Private Equity Houses & Investment Trust Companies.
This covers Pension Schemes, including UK partnership reporting, Investor and Executive reporting, and other ad-hoc advisory pieces and queries, including advice on changes to UK Carry and Co-Investment legislation;
The client exposure is simply stellar as you will work with funds invested in a variety of asset types, primarily Private Equity, but including Credit, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Fund of Funds, Secondaries and Crypto.
The team you will be joining, full expects the Senior Manager to hit a industry learning curve, and therefore is very happy to support this development.
You will get exposure to review complexities around, Carry and Co-Invest, Co-Invest buy backs, hedging, Disguised Interest, Compensating Adjustments, TiS rules etc.
To support your development, you will get up to speed by reviewing UK partnership computations and returns for Investment Partnerships and UK Corporate computations and returns for GP Ltd’s and Investment Trust Companies;
Contribute to UK fund investor tax considerations to buy and sell side M&A structuring papers.
Review and analysis of private fund investment transactions, including analysis of funds flows, deal papers and legal documentation, for consideration of UK tax purposes;
This role is for a person, super keen on industry exposure and would like to use their current UK Tax training into the lucrative Private Equity space. Please reach out for a confident conversation.
