Material Controller
Oxfordshire - Onsite Role
12 Month Contract
Hourly Rate: Inside IR35
We are working with a Globally known manufacturing company within the Aerospace & Defence / Manufacturing industry. Due to increase in work, an opportunity has arisen for a Material Controller on an initial 12 month Sub-Contract in the Oxfordshire area.
Great opportunity for a Material Controller from an Engineering, Manufacturing or Aircraft industry.
Responsibilities Oversee all material and supply requirements needed to resolve ongoing maintenance and technical issues.
Help resolve critical breakdowns or urgent site stoppages, including participating in daily escalation calls.
Provide fast-track escalation for critical parts that threaten to stop work or cause operational downtime.
Coordinate directly with the customer on material orders. If delivery estimates fail to meet required dates, escalate promptly to the next level.
Proactively follow up on delayed deliveries, resolve missing or incorrect paperwork, fix incomplete requisitions, and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
Attend daily operational planning meetings to align priorities across teams.
Experince Required Proven experience in a Material management role.
Experience of SAP.
Person who is familiar with attending meeting.
Building Customer relationships.
Problem solving. Able to identify risk.
Reporting experience withing Supply chain
Proficient in SAP SP1, SAP HANA, Airnnav, Microsoft Excel, etc
